The boys are reunited after about a month of being apart due to conflicting schedules while juggling a variety of projects. On this episode, we're joined with Montana-based comic creator Tony Gregori to jibber jabber about his upcoming self-published book Porkchop Robot Killer that is currently raising funds on the crowdfunding website Zoop. We talk about what inspired Tony to take the leap of faith to write and draw his own book, the various projects he's worked on as a freelance artist, his trials and tribulations in South Florida, and some process chat for the real freaks.

You can help get Tony's new book to print by visiting the Zoop crowdfunding page and follow him on Instagram @toekneegregori and Twitter @ToniGregori.

JB here - been busy juggling projects and a day job so I haven't had time to do much for the pod. Big shout out to Jary our second string editor who's been working on all of our bonus episodes for the Patreon and who helped with this episode. Also thanks to Cam for pulling double duty while I was MIA. Ok, that's enough editorializing.
On this episode, Cam sits down with Vermont-based cartoonist Natlie Norris to discuss her new book at Fantagraphics, Dear Mini: A Graphic Memoir.
You can check out more of her work on her Instagram @natalie__norris.

As some of you may know, Cam has been dealing with several different personal issues over the last few months, so he's taking a break from the show until further notice. I expect him to return relatively soon, so don't fret. In the meantime, I'm going to do my best to keep thetalking flame alight. Last weekend was the much anticipated return of CAKE, or Chicago Alternative Comix Expo, after a three-year hiatus. And after tabling the entire weekend and seeing so many new and familiar faces, I think it's safe to say that we're back. Joining me in the post-CAKE celebration is Avi, the San Francisco-based owner and operator of Silver Sprocket Press to talk about his time at the show, as well as getting deep into his and Silver Sprocket's lore. From his humble beginnings as a boy genius, to managing bands and selling records for his DIY music label, Avi has done it all. And what's left to conquer? Comics of course. We talk about the development and evolution of Silver Sprocket, how he pivoted from selling music to selling funny books, and what's on the horizon for the plucky self-starter and his uniquely ambitious small press publisher.
Check out the Silver Sprocket webstore to purchase their fine publiations and follow them on Instagram @silversprocket and on Twitter @ssbcpunk.

Many people are saying that with the 100th episode in the can, it's all downhill from here. But worry not listener, for the boys are still doing this show for some reason. And what better way to kick off the next chapter in the Gutter Gang lore than with this week's guest, Minneapolis-based cartoonist, publisher, educator, and musician Zak Sally. We talk about his new book, Sammy the Mouse Book 3 (Killgore Books/La Mano 21), having returned from a nearly decade-long hiatus. We also discuss his return, why he needed to take a step back from small press comics, his time as an educator, and his overall thoughts on what comics means to him after nearly 30+ years in the game.
You can check out La Mano 21's webshop where you can purchase their fine publications and follow Zak on Instagram @zak_sally.
