HO HO HO YOU LITTLE GUTTER GANG PAIN PIGS! The holidays are in full swing and the year is quickly coming to close, which can mean only one thing: it is time for our annual Pimps & Simps Awards. This is our fourth year of our little award show, recognizing the winners and losers of small press comics and presenting it in a digestible format for you, the listener, to enjoy as you avoid making eye contact with your aunt as she tries to explain why CHINA is trying to make you trans for Obama. We're joined with past guest Evan Salazar to discuss the best and worst players in comics and why we believe they should be recognized for their achievements and/or failures by presenting them with a series of completely made-up awards with zero cash value. Whose names are inducted in the halls of fame and shame alike for 2023? You'll have to tune in to find out.
PS This one is nearly 2 hours long to make up for our absence from the week prior. You're welcome ;)
We also wanna thank our newest sponsor, MAGIC MIND. Magic Mind is an energy and performance-boosting matcha drink packed with adaptogens, nootropics, and vitamins. Designed to be sipped once per day, the beverage helps attain a clearer state of mind and steady energy. Go to magicmind.com/gutterboys and get 20% off any order. However, if you use it in the next 10 days of this episode airing, you'll get up to 50% off your first subscription.
And lastly, we want to thank our listeners and supporters for another crazy hectic year. Wild we've been doing this for nearly five years now???

Ay, I'm eatin' turkey ova heeeeaaah! Bing bong, the boys return for another episode of small press chatter. Joining us from Upstate New York is Heather Loase, creator of Boring Autobio and Puttana Cartoonist. We discuss her start in comics, her experience collaborating with other cartoonists on the recent women-only anthology Poison Pill, her fascination with reality TV, and why she has Michael Imperioli's email address. The regularness of life may be too hard for most, but you can at least count on Gutter Boys to deliver over an hour of audio to pass the time.
Check out more of Heather's work on Instagram @heatheroflove.

Greetings Gutter Ghouls and welcome to another spine-tingling peek at the horrifying world of small press comics! On this frightfully fun episode, we're joined with two DEADbeats responsible for the ongoing comic The Santos Sisters: Greg Petre and Marc Koprinarov. We talk about their recent trip to the City of BOOtherly Love where they debuted their upcoming Halloween Special of the Santos Sisters. The boys are reunited after about a month of being apart due to conflicting schedules while juggling a variety of projects. On this episode, we're joined with Montana-based comic creator Tony Gregori to jibber jabber about his upcoming self-published book Porkchop Robot Killer that is currently raising funds on the crowdfunding website Zoop. We talk about what inspired Tony to take the leap of faith to write and draw his own book, the various projects he's worked on as a freelance artist, his trials and tribulations in South Florida, and some process chat for the real freaks.
You can help get Tony's new book to print by visiting the Zoop crowdfunding page and follow him on Instagram @toekneegregori and Twitter @ToniGregori.

JB here - been busy juggling projects and a day job so I haven't had time to do much for the pod. Big shout out to Jary our second string editor who's been working on all of our bonus episodes for the Patreon and who helped with this episode. Also thanks to Cam for pulling double duty while I was MIA. Ok, that's enough editorializing.
On this episode, Cam sits down with Vermont-based cartoonist Natlie Norris to discuss her new book at Fantagraphics, Dear Mini: A Graphic Memoir.
You can check out more of her work on her Instagram @natalie__norris.
